Gallifa

The Ecologic Sanctuary of El Castell de Gallifa is a space of five acres that included the interior of the 13th century Gallifa Castle as well as a hermitage from the 10th century. It is two miles from town and has been open to the public for the last 15 years. The sanctuary was converted—due to its isolated location on a plateau surrounded by cliffs—into a place for resting, leisure time, meditation, silence and contemplation of nature. At the same time, there are a variety of socio-cultural activities available.
